I stopped by the salon for the first time recently. The place is great! You feel fancy just walking in! I needed a fresh new cut for spring. My hair is thick, dry and a bit unruly. My stylist suggested a deep conditioning treatment which left my hair feeling so soft. I explained to her that I’m not big on styling my hair – i like to air dry and use minimal products and really like the “messy” look. She gave me a bunch layers and finished it off with some curls (that lasted DAYS, btw). My hair looks amazing and feels so healthy. They are natural and understand their customer’s needs. I’ve received so many compliments at work and have recommended this salon!

I go through periods where I want a complete change. These ladies at Avant Garde Salon were amazing. I was very indecisive on what I wanted and they gave me suggestions, so I let them surprise me. I could not e happier, they were amazing. I appreciate the time they took to make me feel good. I will recommend them to all my friends and visit there again. Thank you all!!!

Love this salon! Super clean and staff is friendly. My hair stylist Nicole P does a fabulous job everytime. She brought my hair from a grown out balayage to a full blonde. Its beautiful!

This was my first time at Avant Garde and it will definitely not be the last! I came in with red hair, not expecting a whole lot because I know red is difficult to work with… but Nicole P. did an amazing job!! I couldn’t have asked for a better result! I love my hair so much and it feels super healthy again. The cut she gave me was exactly what I wanted. What I loved the most about Nicole was that she didn’t give up until it was perfect… and it totally is!

awesome people and AMAZING cuts! As soon as i walked in i was greeted with big smiles and was taken back for the best shampoo i have ever got.I then got a nice hot towel to completely unwind will enjoying a scalp massage and ended with the best cut i have ever gotten !!RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE!

I am new to the area and found this salon on Yelp. Nicole did a great job on my cut! The entire staff is super nice and the owner was so sweet. This salon is great. I may go back in a few days to add a few low lights but I love my cut and would definitely recommend this lovely salon.

Moved to the area last year and have been putting off finding a new salon, as I loved my previous stylist. Came across Avant Garde via my Instagram and was impressed with their photos. I decided it was time to give them a try – I hadn’t had my hair cut in 8 months! Had a cut and blow dry with Nicole. Not only was she a pleasure to talk to, but she knows her stuff. She had to completely redo my layers and turned my basic cut into a smart and sophisticated look. The real test was after I washed my hair and let it air dry. I have naturally thick and curly hair that usually needs to be flat ironed. The layers looked awesome even in their “natural” state. The salon itself is clean and well maintained. If you’re looking for a new salon, give Nicole at Avant Garde a try. You won’t be disappointed!

Everytime I come to this salon I have a great experience. The entire staff is friendly and make me feel very comfortable. My stylist Jenn always listens to what I want and I completely trust her coloring my hair. I have referred people to come here and they have been very satisfied as well! It’s a clean, beautiful, and upbeat environment. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!
